James Forest Joins Jamesy Boy
With Ving Rhames & Mary-Louise ParkerAfter a couple of low-profile years, James Forest is once more accumulating the film projects. Following Hay Dogs and also the lately completed Officer Lower, he's signed for that Stone Pony and could also direct A United States Girl. As though that wasn't plenty to become happening with, Forest has became a member of the cast of Jamesy Boy, a genuine-existence crime drama by which he'll co-star with Ving Rhames and Mary-Louise Parker. It may sound a little just like a Prophet (to not be mistaken with The Prophet, which seems elsewhere today), a little like Felon, and a little like a variety of other prison movies. This a person's about James Burns, a street-gang member who finds themself tossed in clink. There he forges an unlikely mentor-student relationship having a cool killer, who helps him see existence from the new perspective. Hey, maybe it is just like The Prophet in the end.The roles reserved for Forest, Rhames and Parker have not yet been revealed, but Burns has been performed by newcomer Spencer LoFranco. Trevor Whitened is pointing, making the transition from short films to feature-length, and that he co-authored the script with Lane Shadgett, that has an unproduced script of Brett Easton Ellis' Lunar Park to his title.Jamesy Boy's production will get going ahead in Baltimore on March 4.
